Pie Peddlers in Waco

Was ok but the key lime pie was not set or something so it was a little runny. Flavor was good though I think.

We bought an Ever Berry pie and it was the best pie ever! I live in California and I’m hoping I can place orders online!

The greatest looking pies I've ever seen, pie crust is so good and the bottom crust wasn't soggy. You must give them a try!

We had a slice of Meringue Coconut pie. It was delicious. Even my husband who isn't a big pie fan loved it!

Basic pie. Nothing special. Whipped cream wasn't real. (Cool whip like). Would not return. Good Service, friendly staff.

So I would normally write a review with an awesome picture of my food, but I just couldn't help myself. My Banana Cream pie wad gone in about 2 seconds. I also just had to get an original Dr. Pepper, since I am just down the street from the Dr. Pepper Musem. The food was delicious, as was the staff, and the atmosphere. Located in Mary's St. Market. This pie shop is centrally located in d downtown Waco.

Great local bakery with small town ambiance. The pies are very good with that homemade quality you would get from your mom or grand-mom. They also change the menu each week with new pies to tempt your will power. Highly recommended.

We have been to the Pie Peddler in downtown Waco before (probably about a year ago) & loved the pie & cute shop. We really enjoyed getting out of the heat to drink coffee & eat pie! However, this time my husband & I stopped in w/one of our kiddos 20 min before closing with hopes to order a couple of slices & sit & enjoy them (thinking that it probably takes 10-15 min to eat pie). All of the pies were already put up but the gal behind the counter said she could still get something. After we placed our order she said “Are you going to get these to go?” My husband asked her if that would make her happy & she said “yes, kind of!” We we’re so surprised by her quick response that we just canceled our order & said we would just try to come back another time. We weren’t really up for eating the pie in our car. We probably will come back another time but definitely way before closing. We were all a bit disappointed.

Just ordered a buttermilk pie and it wasn't good. The texture was watery and all you can taste is the eggs. HEB buttermilk pies tastes better. It was a waste of my money.

Really good pecan pie flavor... Crust extremely hard. Tried microwaving it and helped a little.

My mom and I make much better pie and coffee. It was good but nothing special and over priced. Weak coffee too. Now the shop it self is absolutely adorable as is the antique knicknack shop next door. I love all the esthetics of the new downtown. The idea is great. Just wish the pie was better.

The pie crust was hard and very tough. The filling was only mediocre. It wasn’t worth it for me. I left unfulfilled.

What a fun place! Pie was good and even served warm upon request.

We found this little gem of a place and decided to stop in for dessert! I'm so glad we did. My mom got the lemon icebox mini pie and I got the coconut caramel mini pie. I would highly recommend this place as it is just a short walk from the silos. It's quaint, cozy, relaxing and delicious!

Got the pecan mini pie and it was wonderful. Probably one of the best I have ever had, really good crust! They had lots of variety and different size options, no gluten free or vegan.

We were strolling the streets looking for food, and found a dessert spot!Big band music playing...Good selection of pies...for sale by the Pie, slice, or mini pie.I got the mini pecan pie...they warmed it before serving...it was yummy!! Wife got a piece of chocolate pie! Served on a chilled plate...”It’s good, but not Nanny’s”—but to be fair, you can’t compare with Nanny’s...

Loved this place! The woman working was super nice and helpful and the pies we purchased were amazing (blackberry, and everyberry) and tasted like it was homemade by your momma. I would recommend to anybody

We have loved our experiences with Pie Peddlers so far! Fun place to eat in and also enjoyed taking home a "whole pie" - where we got to select the flavors of our slices. Interesting variety and friendly folks!

Went in today. Bought 2 pies. Pecan and Chocolate Meringue. Pecan is runny and really not very good. Chocolate seemed as if it was separating. Tasted grainy. Also bought individual slices. Apple was good. Fruit tarts good. Priced high for not very good pies. If we didn’t live an hour away. I would return em.

Pretty good. Went on a Saturday evening. I'm hoping the pie was made today but hard to tell. Staff was kinda friendly but nothing special. First time in. Not sure if I'll return. This slice was $4.80

Delicious. Not everyone makes a rhubarb pie. Pie Peddlers makes two kinds (raspberry and strawberry) and they are great. The fresh fruit tart is creamy, fruity, and delicious. The banana cream taste like my families old recipe (which is a great thing). The crust appears hand folded and is crispy. This isn't something I'm used to but it is very good with these pies. I'm coming back.

The key lime was good and so was the fruit tart I think that's what it's called. The smores pie taste like a chocolate pie. Missing the marshmallows for it to be called smores. But they were well balanced. Not too sweet and not under. Yummy pies!

I would expect more for a place that sells only pies!and offers only filter coffee...

The crust wasn't flaky, and the peach filling needed more sugar. ( I bake, so I'm not just being critical)

Have had four different types of pie and all were delicious. Raspberry Rhubarb is my favorite so far.

If I got this pie for free I still wouldn’t eat it. I’m a pie fanatic and was so stoked for this place to open. The place is nice and welcoming to your everyday hipster, but their pies are the equivalent to concrete... like when it hardens. If they offered coffee or anything else, I wouldn’t mind coming back.... but the textures, taste, and everything else about it was off.

I tried the Pecan and Buttermilk pies by the slice. They were both very good. I stumbled on this place after visiting the Dr. Pepper museum. It is located next to the public parking lot of the museum. Turn your back to the museum and walk forward.

Chocolate meringue pie!!! Yes, so very delicious! We also had coffee with our pie. My husband tried the pecan pie and loved it as well. Cute little place!
